Say Cheese to Dominos!

Shopping is a great fun activity, but being on your foot for 6 hours with 10 bags in your hands at the end of it does have the potential to make you tired. And right when I wanted to drop down dead tired, I spy with my little eye, something starting with D! I spy with my little eye, the most famous place to satiate your hunger in less than 30 minutes. I spy with my little eye, something on the menu that makes me say cheese! πŸ˜€ Its the ‘Dominos Cheese Burst Pizza’!!!

No experiments there, i have ordered the cheese burst pizza a million times at home, to enjoy the yummy creamy cheese layer oozing out of the pizza with every bite. It is quite a safe bet after the long day. The only difference being, this time it wasnt a home delivery, it was a dine in. The first experience of a Dominos Pizza served on the table.

Well ofcourse the reclining couch in front of my TV at home has been a wonderful place to enjoy a Pizza once in a while, but still, at the end of my dinner I made a decision… To go down to dominos and eat in instead of ordering at home. why would that be?

Its because dominos made me say cheese πŸ˜€ And i’m not just talking about the wide smile that was on my face at the end of a meal that made me happy. I am talking about the hot liquid cheese that was ozzing out of my cheesy mexican wave pizza at absolutely every bite, like never before. Never has the cheese been so hot before, never has the cheese been so liquid-y before, never has it oozed out in such a tempting way before. Never have i actually experienced a cheese burst in my mouth before!!! Getting so much tired, worth it! because we ended up in Dominos.

Dominos is yet another place that says No pepsi, only coke, fanta, sprite…. coke will do, but it has other stuff that makes me happy…. To follow the burst of cheese in my mouth, was a burst of rich and creamy chocolate in my mouth! What else could be the perfect dessert, it was the choco-lava cake πŸ˜€ Happy ending to a productive day πŸ™‚

Who wants the cherry on the cake?!

My beautiful new house. First time visiting formally, my best friend with family. And whats a better way to celebrate the fun than cutting a pretty, decorated fruit cake! The one that i have always seen displayed in Oven Magic. Now i keep telling my dad, who has been quite loyal to the shop, that i dont prefer things from there. I havent preferred the snacks that they sell. Neither am i a fan of their croissants. I havent enjoyed breads from there, nor were the pretty looking pastries ever that delicious. So then why did I go there one day before my guests were expected, to book that cake decorated with fruits! Β I went there because that ‘mixed fruit cake’ looks too damn pretty!! “One Mixed Fruit Cake, with no message written on it, to be booked for tomorrow please.” πŸ™‚

Come tomorrow, i speed my car to oven magic, only to see that someone else shares my thoughts about how pretty that cake is… Long story short, by mistake, the people sold off my cake to someone else. Apparently, they forgot it was booked for me because there was no message!!! Are you kidding me!!!! This cake was going to make my dinner pretty!!! I cought my breath back soon, when they told me they can arrange for another cake in about 15 minutes time. They would just fetch it from their other store. Well, this cake wasnt dome shaped, like the earlier one. But it had a very very pretty icing on it. The cake makes me happy πŸ™‚

Clap for the awesome dinner, my friend and his family loved it! And after dinner, comes the cake πŸ˜€ One big piece of everyone, and a little smaller piece for those who were too full! First bite, oooh… the cream. Second bite, aaa… the fruit chunks. Third bite, a spoonful of the cake with the creamy part and the fruit, everything together, OUCH! Way too sweet! They say, you do something once because you are curious. If you do it twice, means you like it. You do it for the third time if it was too damn good! Its what you do after that, that tells whether you’re going to do it again or not. But the fate of the fruit cake wasnt that bad. “If you dont have what it takes, just look pretty” πŸ˜‰ it worked true in the case of this case.

The best part is yet to come. One big piece of the cake was left. And the cherry was on that piece. Who wouldn’t ask for more! But as we all know, every cake has just one cherry. Any guesses who got this cherry? *taking a bow* ME!

TheΒ mysterious question is, will Oven Magic’s Mixed Frui Cake ever come back at any of our other parties? Well, it was really pretty. And thats what made us “like it”. Remember what we do what we ‘like it’?? πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜€ πŸ™‚ We definitely want one more of those cherries!

PEPSI- naam to suna hoga

Hello to all those people who have ordered a pepsi, but got a coke instead as if its all just the same. Hello to you, if you have ever been challenged to make out the difference between pepsi-coke-thums up. Hello there, the ones who walk 2 blocks more because you insist on a pepsi, and dont settle for “sorry we have only Coke and Thums up. And a special hello to Suresh.

So are you curious who is Suresh? Well, he’s a guy i saw in a multiplex when i went to watch a movie. He was selling “Pepsi” and “Diet Coke”, or so he thought. A tray full of cans of Diet Pepsi dint make him realise that he is saying the wrong name, and so, calling him Suresh doesnt leave any apprehensions for me. Well, ofcourse his name wasnt Suresh. But if all canned cola drinks are Coke, sure all sellers of such drinks are Suresh.

I have made it quite obvious now that i am a loyal pepsi lover. Everyone knows the rules. The reason may be, that i can never get enough of it. My love for pepsi has defied all laws of marginal satisfaction. Is it true that food tastes better with Pepsi? Oh it sure does. Pepsi is an essential side order along with every meal, especially when you go outside to eat. Pepsi with chaat, Pepsi with dosa, Pepsi with chinese, Pepsi with tandoori food. And whats best, nothing fancy, but Pepsi with chips πŸ™‚

Did i say that I never get enough of Pepsi? Well, if a pet bottle everyday is not ‘enough’ then its hard to describe whats enough. May be if that Pet bottle did not get over by others around me asking for “one sip of Pepsi”. Its weird when people say they dont like to take a lot of soft drinks, but still take a sip from mine absolutely everyday. Isnt that the same as a glass of pepsi once a week? So why not just man up, order a glass of pepsi once a week and control yourself for the rest week if you’re really checking your carb intake! Funnier it is, when people make you feel that the bottle of Pepsi you just finished is going to kill you the very next second and then ask for a sip themselves. When i say Pepsi is my favourite, there are people who cut against it and say that they prefer coke. “Can i have a sip of your pepsi” sounds the best when it comes from them πŸ˜‰ My friend, and the dearest classmate I had in college used to be my complain box every time when someone eyed my Pepsi. She has an interesting take on it.

So its simple as that, everybody loves Pepsi. That cold bubbly sweet sip of Pepsi flowing down your throat on a hot, summer afternoon is the best feeling ever! A sip of Pepsi after every crunchy bite of your chips can beat heaven! A pitcher of Pepsi is what completes a party. As long as you are man enough to order your glass of Pepsi, and bother to call it by its name- Pepsi, its going to be a happy day for you. Enjoy your sugar rush. As for me, I have my pet bottle right next to me πŸ™‚

The only question is, does Pepsi make you smile too? πŸ™‚
